The Inner-South Canberra Business Council is a representative organisation formed to represent the views of local businesses and their employees to the Government and Community.

 

The group is funded corporately and also provides businesses with advice and resources to become more environmentally friendly.

The Council has had several recent successes, including; enhanced advocacy, the removal of a London plane tree blocking a precinct revitalising development, and several city services improvements.

​

The Council plans to fund an advertising program and Masterplan in 2024, 'The City of Manuka', focusing on bringing life into the Manuka business precinct.

​

The ISBC is a joint subsidiary with The United Advocacy Group.
